An App That Has Appeal

I am a tech junkie, even though I haven't a clue on how any of it came to be. I have probably three dozen apps on my smartphone, and even more than that on my tablet and computer. Some of them are for pure entertainment while others are practical apps that help me manage some aspect of my life. When my husband asked me for my opinion on an app idea that he had, I thought it was brilliant. I know I'm biased, but I told him to find a Singapore app developer immediately, that is how confident I was in his idea for a new app.

He runs his own business, and this app would gain him so many new customers. I may not know how to develop an app, but I know which apps are good and which are a waste of time. I may only have a few dozen that I use, but I look at apps throughout the week and end up rejecting most of them. That is why my husband wanted my opinion, because he knew that I would be honest if it was good or not, especially since our own money was going to be at stake in it.

He narrowed down his search to two different developers and once again asked for my opinion on which one to go with. I looked over both, but I had to go with Massive Infinity after just a few minutes of researching both. I liked the design of the apps that they showed, plus they have several years of experience in developing apps like this. My husband met with them, and they told him they would be able to do what he wanted. That was a year ago, and his app is going strong today. It's one of the ones I use on a daily basis too!

Cable Gets the Movies First

A lot of my friends watch movies through streaming services, but I don't because of my Internet service provider. My connection speed isn't that great, and on top of that, I have to deal with a monthly data cap. If I go over the cap, then I have to pay an extra $10 a month for every 50GB I go over. There are no other providers in my area, so I just avoid watching movies online. Instead, I watch movies through my cable provider. This service lets me watch a lot of free movies on the major movie channels, while also allowing me to rent moves for a few day, or even own them as long as I maintain my subscription to the service.

I prefer to watch movies on my television rather than online anyway, because my laptop screen is only 13 inches, while my television screen is 50 inches. Being hunched over a cramped space like the one on my laptop to watch a movie is not one way that I want to spend my evening. If I had company over, we would have both needed to huddle over the laptop to watch the movie if we used streaming.

Last week, I invited my friends over for a movie watching party. I rented a movie through the cable service, and my friends were surprised to see it. This movie was not available on any streaming service, so they hadn't seen it yet. That was another benefit for having cable service. There are a lot of movies that make it to cable before they get on the streaming sites, and unless you want to wait to see them, you would be better off having cable. We watched the movie, and after it was done, I rented another one for us to enjoy.
